And he entered the city at a time of inattention by its people, and there he found two men fighting, one from his faction and the other from his enemy. And the one from his faction called him for help against the one from his enemy, so Moses struck him and he got killed; he said: "This is from the work of Satan, Indeed he is a manifest and misleading enemy".
Moses struck the person from the enemy without having the remembrance of the Lord. So Satan made the person die. Thus Moses realized and regretted that it was the work of Satan. Any deed without the remembrance of Lord with Adhikr is Satanic. With the remembrance of the Lord, no harm will happen anywhere in the heavens and earth as explained in verses 7: 205-206.
